Kingston etch, made by Ulster?

Morning gang, got this Utility knife along with three others from Roland (KJ), great pieces all the way !
My question today is the 4 blade MADE IN USA utility,upon cleaning and admiring them ,happen to notice the faint KINGSTON etch on the main. Did Ulster use this for a period of time, maybe during WW2 era. After chatting with Roland he seemed to think so, can anyone help with this.

According to Goins: Kingston USA was a mark used by D.Divine & Ulster from c1915 to 1958. The Kingston Cutlery Co was formed in 1945 by the Ulster and Imperial knife companies. It was dissolved in 1947.
Those are 4 nice knives.

IIRC, Imperial Schrade continued to use the Kingston trademark on knives made for the civilian market in the 1950's. I recall seeing that in the catalogs posted on Collectors of Schrades R Us.

Seems like Kingston was using old tooling from Remington Cutlery & only lasted less than 2 yrs.

Why involve Remington when Kingston is known to be a brand name used by Ulster and later by Imperial ? Both these manufacturers had tooling to make a variety of 4 blade Utility pattern knives.
