Thank you Marco. My only experience with Maserin is this one knife so my estimate of the brand shouldn't receive much weight. Allowing for that, I find the construction and materials to be very good. I see that Maserin produces many, perhaps a majority, of modern folders but I find more appeal in their traditional patterns.

Killer photo of that one Benton, that baby looks poised, balanced on the edge of the peak and ready to pounce. Calendar shot.

Lebanon, KY . Where is this. I was under the impression that Lebanon USA was in Pennsylvania. I must admit though, i do struggle with some of the abbreviations for all your states. ::dang:: ::tu::

cudgee, It would probably be hard to find a state that does not have a town named Lebanon. There are Lebanon's all over the U.S. Something that struck me about American city names is how dependent they were on the names of the Old World: Cairo (southern tip of Illinois). Athens, Troy (N.Y.), Sparta, etc. etc.

My KY Lebanon is in central KY well south of Louisville.

I totally agree Garry, with 1 exception, that being the stiletto they produce. You know how much I like stilettos, but as nice as it is, it's a bit out of my comfort zone as far as price, just a little more than I'm willing to spend. They certainly seem to be well made knives, and after all, they're built in Italy! Enjoy yours, it looks to be a very solid folder! 8)

I think you have a good knife there. I have had good luck with a Maserin folding Knife, the Guadalup Model 231. It has a good quality feel to it. locks up nice and tight. Very well made.

Nice Barlow Garry! ::tu:: From viewing my knives I'm sure you know that these are not really my style, but there's something about the Barlow shape that I find very attractive. Good solid work knives too! 8)
