Knife Storage / Display Unit For Sale
As my AAPK store inventory slowly winds-down, I find myself without the need for my trusty storage/display unit(s) that have served me well over the years and figured that somebody in AAPK-Land could become the new caretaker. Here's the items that are for sale:
A. Six (6) Allstate Aluminum Display Cases
- Model #150A - 22" x 34" x 3-1/4"
- Tempered Safety Glass, Steel Piano Hinge, Cylinder Lock, Solid Masonite Bottom, Built-in Support Arms, All Riveted Construction and a Lightweight Aluminum Frame
- Hinged on 34" side, each with a firm charcoal colored egg crate insert, custom cut on the bias to display knives vertically in the cases rather than diagonally as traditional egg crate inserts not cut on the bias normally do
- Each display case holds approximately 105 pocket-knives closed (7 rows of 15 knives) and has a ½” foam top to hold knives in-place during travel
- There are multiple sets of keys that come with these cases with carrying handles, one set of plexiglass security enclosures and 5 velvet pad liners
- I have 2 extra firm charcoal colored egg crate inserts in addition to the six inside of the display cases
B. One (1) Stainless Steel Bakers Rack to store the Display Cases
These items new were almost $1,500 with residential freight shipping: and most of the prices can be verified at (http://www.allstatemfgco.com/prices.htm). I know the logistics involved with getting this lot into the hands of the next caretaker and I am willing to help to whatever extent I can physically. The costs of all shipping are the responsibility of the buyer.
I have the bakers rack configured to “nest” my rolling knife display which holds twenty (20) 18" x 12" x 2" oak display cases with my permanent collection. THE ROLLING KNIFE DISPLAY: https://www.webstaurantstore.com/regenc ... rsEALw_wcB, THE OAK CASES: https://www.discountcutlery.net/M141-Oa ... 37070.html AND THE KNIVES DISPLAYED: https://www.allaboutpocketknives.com/bestgear) ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS LOT. I included pictures of this configuration to show the versatility of this unit and the small footprint that it occupies (36” wide, 24” deep and 72” tall to the top of the first aluminum case). You can configure this unit to best suit your own needs.
Who has the need and the financial means to give this experienced storage/display unit a new home? I am open to listening to fair offers, especially those that might include a local pickup at zip code 19947. Thanks for looking.

Hello,
Are these still available? If so, I'm interested. I've outgrown my small cases and would love to utilize these but I don't think it would be cost effective to ship me the rack. What would you consider for the cases + some extra to safely pack them up in a box? If there is not a UPS store near you I think I can easily arrange for UPS to pick up instead.

oops...I misunderstood the post. I assumed, when Tom said they were 'sold', it was you who got them. My bust. Sorry it didn't work out for you, LA.Loose Arrow wrote: ↑Mon Sep 14, 2020 6:58 pmI tried to procure them but last I heard from Tom was when he said he would provide me with a quote to palletize them for shipment.

Re: Knife Storage / Display Unit For Sale
I guess the demand for freight has driven the price sky-high making some shipments like this unaffordable - I was able to find a local buyer who picked them up.
