Pappa Bones, I've got a '91 model of the 6207 that a friend used up most all the "goody" in the clip blade and the jigging is worn smooth almost like a "Pocket Worn". The length is still there but it looks like a needle. ::uc::
I found Queen #27 Barlow (sheep foot) in the mailbox this afternoon. This one has the aluminium frame, sealed back and the two pin handles, so light in weight, makes one question if they are as tough as the steel framed Queen Barlows?

To be honest, when I first saw them, and being a traditionalist, I was a bit turned off by the screw construction. However, now that I have one in hand, it looks like one FINELY made knife, I am quite impressed and really liking it!

This other one also checks all the boxes for me. A Ford & Medley Sheffield, in Q's favorite material to collect. I am really tickled to own it!

Congratulations! They both look like awesome knives! ::tu:: ::tu:: ::super_happy::

Wow! Very, very sweet knives my friends!👍🖕 I picked up another Sabre Japan barlow...I have probably ten or twelve of these now.. really solid, reasonably priced edcs..the bone handles on these are always sweet.. and they hold an edge forever..for some reason these barlows are a big step up in quality compared to the Sabre trappers I have purchased.::shrug:: maybe different time period or maker? ::shrug::

I have to get into the Japanese Sabres a bit more. My Granddad gave me a Peanut, and I use it a little bit. My other Sabre is American-made, and is basically the same as an older Schrade/Ulster large Stockman from the '60s.

Like I said---for some reason the barlows are much higher quality than the trappers I have..I really like them alot for good edcs that I'm not worried about losing..

Well, these came in the mail yesterday.

First, a Camillus Long line tang stamp (1960-76) #41 Senator Pen. 3-1/8" closed, with the pointed oval shield, and delrin handles. Blades have surprising snap, very strong spring.

Next, and although not a pocket knife I believe it is knife maker related. A pair of needle nose pliers and Lineman side-cutter pliers made by H. Boker & Co USA. I have a toolbox that I keep a set of older manufacturers tools from the 50's & 60's. These will go there.

Nice Trio Trace. Gotta love those sowbellies. Better watch those Mini Trappers.....they're kinda addictive.

My apologies. I got so enthused by LA's Bulldogs that I added some of my own. BUT then I realized they are not new pick-ups . Sorry for going off topic.

Nice one! I'm still deciding between the Strong Arm and LMF II; with the later in full ASEK kit with strap cutter attached to sheath. The Strongarm is a better size, but I like the sheath and carry options of the LMF more, especially its leg straps.
