Looks like a perfect score to me. ::nod::

Just picked this 501 up for just a bit over retail for a new production and I couldn’t be happier. It’s the first non stockman Buck I have ever purchased. I caught the bug after getting a SFO Buck 501 ( which cost more then this) for Father’s Day

Beautiful 501, CHNeal. ::tu:: You should post about it over in the "New Bucks" thread. Every time I do, I get new information about knives I thought I had known a little about already.

They are very good looking knives Ryan. The Rough Ryder is interesting. I'm pretty sure it's Ryder, not Rider. ::tu::

Thank you. It’s been a long time since I bought a knife for myself that wasn’t a stockman. I’ll admit to a degree of excitement

Thank you. They are just great little knives. My wife and daughter both have one in their collections and I’ve always wanted to add one to mine so when I saw it I jumped.

This one is on it's way today. I mainly wanted it for my fishing vest. 1. because I feel it will have better grip than the older smooth side tinker I had for years, and 2. Because it has a Phillips tip on it. And I couldn't resist new for under $30. It's a Victorinox Evogrip 11 with the file blade.

Very similar to this EvoGrip S18. I love it. It just refuses to move from my desk to a folder and I don't push it because I enjoy admiring it. For $36 it's a real bargain. ::nod:: If anything should ever happen to my Whitebuffalo58 custom Camillus 72, the EvoGrip S18 is next in line for my pocket.
