Just picked up this pre 72. It's tang stamp is "Forged in USA", I think it is probably one made by Camillus for Sears. Seller on ebay had a price that I thought was a little high so I made him an offer and he accepted. Thanks for looking.

Got a couple of 2nd generation 72's this past week. The black one from knifegnome's store and the 2nd one out of the bay. I sure enjoy these older ones.

...some of you younger guys refresh my failing memory??...just looked at all my '72's.........I've got 3 that have the short underlined Camillus 3line mark(1946-1950)...these are the oldest, right????.............
