Just picked up this pre 72. It's tang stamp is "Forged in USA", I think it is probably one made by Camillus for Sears. Seller on ebay had a price that I thought was a little high so I made him an offer and he accepted. Thanks for looking.

Not a true split spring but it is 2 springs with a tapered brass wedge between. Thanks.
