I picked up these two pocket knives at the post office today. Another Allen Cutlery Company, 2 blade, jack knife (first 2 pictures) and another HOLLINGER FREMONT OHIO, 3 blade "whittler" (last 2 pictures). Yes, the Hollinger Fremont is a Camillus 72 variation. I gave both knives the once over, but neither needed any serious cleaning. These are MY pictures.

Thank you treefarmer. ::handshake:: I hate to use the "C" word, but I do believe that the handles are celluloid. The seller's ad description said "plastic." Oh, the liners are gimped. ::tu::

Beautiful knife Floyd! Looks like a really cool piece! Like the color contrast between the shield & the handles. It really catches the eye. ::super_happy::

Today, my trip to the post office produced these two knives. Another EAGLE KNIFE COMPANY, single blade, jack pocket knife and another GEO. SCHRADE, single blade, wire handle, jack pocket knife. Both received the once over, but gently. They will both be posted in their appropriate location(s). These pictures are mine.

My phone is IP68 certified, withstands a drop of 5 meters of concrete, but its camera is not a strong point. USSR Navy knife. The other knives are for scale.

Thank you Mark. ::handshake:: The colors don't really come out in the pictures that well. The handles are a shiny copper color and have a "bumpy" appearance to them, but they feel smooth when the knife is held. Also, the whole knife is magnetic. I also think it's quite unusual, but that's what I like about it. ::tu::

Skip, it looks like they managed to capture a Ray skin appearance. I can see the copper color. Interesting about the texture, I wouldn’t have thought that would feel smooth. Haven’t seen one like this before. It’s really nice.
