I have to say I oiled this knife up ran it across a steel for a bit and WOW god that things sharp messed around carvin on a peice of pine I had and seems to hold it real nice am really likin this little knife as many of you can prolly tell.

I have a wood handle BOKER U.S.A. Tree Series #92115 single hooked blade electrician's knife and I can't find any info on it. Anyone out there with info would help. There should be 3 Attachments with pictures below. Kent, Kent's Tools, Tucson, AZ

Kent, that is pattern #9215. The extra '1' you see in the middle is actually the trunk of the Boker Tree.
Boker usually called that a pruning knife. The handles are cocobolo wood. Made sometime between 1950-1970.

Thanks Blue, Do you ave any idea of what price I should ask for this knife the BOKER 9215 Pruning Knife with cocobolo wood handles. It is in very good condition. The blade although not very sharp has not been abused. The handles don't have any cracks or chips, the 4 rivets and the blosters are in very good condition and the blade has "TREE BRAND" etched on it. The lock back works perfectly and there is no slop in the blade. I would sell this on eBay, however if one of our members wants to buy it for a reasonable price, I'll sell it. Thanks for you help. I found one many years ago in a truck side box covered with black gunk, forgot about found it again few months ago going through my old tool box. Cleaned it up some with gun oil , fine steel wool and seen Boker on the tang , keep it my truck tool box.

There are two different versions. Those with the nail nick on the screwdriver towards the pivot of the knife (like most electrician's knives), and then those made in Germany with USA blades and a new screwdriver--those have a nick close to the tip of the blade. I had the USA model, lost it; and bought two German ones for $20. They were like new (with factory edges), except someone had attempted to file the screwdrivers down to fit a No. 2 Phillips, which was a failure, as it didn't work right. Had planned to make a Wharncliffe conversion, but since the nail nick is at the tip, it's impossible.

The USA-made ones are pretty solid. The German ones aren't bad, but I will say they feel cheaper.
