Edit: Oh yeah. Forgot to add my 14th Camillus 14 that came a couple of days ago. I'm such a sucker for these. I just can't pass them up when they're going for cheap (which is most of the time). If I didn't carry a 72, this is what I would be carrying.
Nice!!! But you don't carry both because....?

(this coming from a guy who MAY carry more than one knife twice a year! ::sotb:: }
I carry so much "stuff" in my pockets now, there isn't room for another knife and actually no need for one. My 72 Frankenknife does every thing I need it to do on the rare occasion that I need a knife.

I'm now on my fourth schrade 861 but this is the only one I have that's not minty. I cleaned it up a little and now it only lacks edge work. Snaps just fine and is solid with hardly any blade loss. I really didn't need it but it's not bad for $23, and I just like it.

N W NY, great pick up on the scout knife book. ::nod::
TPK that Hoffritz is a great pick up. I'm kinda partial to german knives and that one is a beauty. ::tu::
SSK, that 12 is sweet but the Tuna Valley could be the prom Queen. That is a gorgeous knife. ::nod:: ::tu::

Two little 72's came today. They popped up on the bay a buy now $28, and free shipping and I couldn't resist. The one is a long line and the other a short line. DSCN5727.JPGDSCN5728.JPG
Also got a Camillus rope knife from 'bestgear', thanks Tom. It suffers from a little overly aggressive sharpening but it called me. :roll: DSCN5729.JPGDSCN5730.JPG
And from knifeaholic, thanks Steve, an Utica tool kit knife. Like new shape, now to watch for the tools.DSCN5731.JPGDSCN5732.JPG
Nice lot. I'm partial to those 72s myself. Don't know how I missed them. Good for you! ::tu::

I resent the descriptor "little". It's a medium size knife that punches waay above it's weight class. ::smack::

Got this new Mcusta today. Offering for sale, but if it doesn’t sell, I am fine with keeping it. I love Mcusta’s and just about any knife made in Seki Japan, you just can’t beat the quality and craftsmanship for the money. MC-42 with VG10 core and San Mai Damascus blade. The handle is an interesting anodized aluminum, anodized in two colors.

It is not a 72 but close to it. I saw this one pop up on ebay and could not believe my eyes. A Herman Williams custom 863 with burned elk handles. Only two of us bid and WOW am I pleased that I was able to get it. In communicating with Mr. Williams he proved to be a gentleman equal to his knife customizing ability. I will post some more photo's over on the Schrade forum. Thanks for looking.

Was out today and decided to stop at a pawn shop that I'd never been in. I looked at the Marble’s Lockback for $25 out of curiosity because I didn’t have one like it. Then I asked to see the Craftsman 3 blade which is a very nice knife, also for $25. The man behind the counter and I talked a little and after I put in a plug for AAPK and asked if he gave veteran's discounts, he paused for a moment and said, “both for $20.” WHAT’S A COLLECTOR SUPPOSE TO DO?
