Camillus 2 Blade
Here's a knife I've had for ? several years. I don't know how old it is? It is in nice shape. It's sharp too. Some scratches on the blades but other wise nice. I don't know what the handle materials are? I tried to get a close up of the main blade with the words on it. Any info on it will be appreciated for certain. Thanks for looking.

The tang stamp looks to be pre 1947. Does it have four lines (I can only see 3) and does it have a number on the reverse.

jigged plastic handles is my guess. nice little knife.would fetch 5-15 on ebay my guess?
camillus closed a little while back so their has been a rush on their knives here and their. but camillus made millions if not 100s of million knives. when they closed i grabbed one knife from their auction.
dating camillus to a specific year almost impossible. but you can normally get it narrowed down to a gap of yrs
meaning between 1940-1950 or 1970-1985 like that.unless like my 2002 buckmaster or 1994 congress which in those cases the box had a date and the buckmaster had 2002 etch. manthe buckmaster has 2 blades and the guthook is so sharp it would peel your finger right to the bone!!!

On the main blade, the largest one, this is what my old eyes can make out under the magnifying glass:

No numbers anywhere that I can see. No numbers on the smaller blade either. It is chrome plated carbon steel and very sharp. Looks like it has not been used much and has some scratches on the blade from sharpening. I may have done that several years ago just to see if I could sharpen it. I plan on keeping it in my odd ball collection. I like it a lot. I think I will not carry it as I don't want to lose it. I will probably oil it and put it away. It measures closed 3 3/8" long. The larger blade from bolster to tip measures: 2 1/2". The smaller blade measures: 1 3/4" long. Both blades have stops at half open. Good snap and spring action on opening and closing. I wish I had a dozen of the same knife. I would guess that the scales or handles are a plastic? Not celluloid tho? Looks like nickle silver bolsters with brass pin in the middle of the scales. No pins in it anywhere else tho. Excellent workmanship too. Thanks for asking and any info on it.
