I really do think the Anza might be your spirit knife, Scott.TripleF wrote:Past couple days I've carried this ANZA Cherokee (made and stamped for Cherokee in North Carolina).
Love the green & yellow sawcut Delrin knives from Camillus, QS. I have a couple Remington-stamped Barlows from the Heritage collection plus a 4 1/4" Remington stockman with a bunch of notable nuggets, including the muskrat clip main blade (almost never see those on big stock knives) and the fact that it seems to have a model # stamp from a totally different knife on it. When I got it, the pile-side "sawcut" had been melted flat likely due to a miscalculation in knife display, so it went into the carry rotation and hasn't let me down. That slim 'rat clip along with a big broad large stockman sheepsfoot make for quite the blade combo.
Every so often I forget just how much I love the patented Queen "offset Barlow" pattern of yore. Then I carry one of mine and I'm reminded how cool they are. Not sure if any design snaps as crisply or authoritatively as this one does for the size.

Went hunting yesterday evening, carried this Uncle Henry folding hunter. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Thank you doglegg & John. Other than that the FB is Japanese, obviously, I don't have much more info. I bought it from AJ Russell maybe 7 years ago. Wonderfully sharp. Intended for hunters.

Nearly 2 full weeks with a Barlow in pocket. Decided to go with a little XTRA today.
Dragged along the old Imperial cow-HOK for the ride.

Everything's better with a Barlow
