is it green bone???

is it a 44 pattern?? its 3 1/4 inches long
would you retip the small blade

If it were mine I'd take some WD-40 and remove the surface rust, and retip the small blade. I would not buff the blades at all. Maybe semi-chrome the bolsters. Looks like a good knife to me.

what remcol said. use 0000 steel wool and almost any oil.
