Anybody recognize this?

This was in the pic I posted of today's finds. Like I said It's seen better days, but I'm a sucker for combo tools. I tried to get a pic of the logo. It's more like a hallmark. It's on the main blade. The only other mark is a 44 on four of the tools. Sorry about the photos, my camera decided to work differently and I haven't figured out the changes yet. Thanks for your time.

Nice old horseman's knife! Could you take a close up of the stamp by closing all the other blades and opening the master blade halfway(90 degrees)? Sometimes you are better able to see the mark at that position. Looks to be 1900 or thereabouts and likely English.

I put it in pike position (I know, I'm watchin' the Olympics) like knife7knut suggested, then I used my wife's cell phone. Why is that better than a 400 dollar camera?

Thanks for posting that pic but it still is a mystery to me. It looks almost Oriental. The notch on the tang is a bit of a puzzler;it appears to be a wire stripper(too small for a cigar trimmer and too clse to the knife).The screwdriver blade looks like an old English style but the scissors handles are shaped like nothing I have ever seen. Also most English horseman's knives use an extended center liner to act as a screwdriver. The champagne cutter blade is also unusual in a knife like this.I'm going to check on the French site to see if there is a mark like that.

The notch in the main blade is to make room for the big rivit that holds the file hinge in place.
