roofsc: That is a fine looking hunting knife. I know many experienced hunters (and entire cultures) use knives without guards and no doubt are very careful as they go about their work. Although not raised in the skills of hunting I have always known I would want a substantial guard on a hunting or camping knife. Your knife has exactly the kind of guard I favor.

I have 3 of them, I would sell one or trade for early long tail c fixed blade or stag or bone...I don't know pattern numbers well but was told the 5o25 is a flat grind blade with round pommel I have is rare?
