Camillus USA, Official Scout

Post by Edgewise »

Fellers, I thought I'd start a new thread to celebrate my replacement for the stolen IXL Scout.
I got this from Vintage Blades LLC, brown composition, 100% blade and full etch, good snap, no flaws, 1989 to present.
It's not as old as the IXL was, but it's a beauty and I love it.
The web site description was complete and accurate. I even got a better knife than I expected. They didn't call it "mint" simply because it had lost its factory shine.
After searching for another Scout, I've become more interested in them and their odd blade combinations and would love to see some of your collectibles.

Nice knife edge. I have seriously been thinking about getting my 9 1/2 year old grandson a Scout Knife for his first. I had a pretty nice Swiss Army from El Lobo but my wife took care of that! Kelley
