Double Locker copperhead Yello-Jaket

Post by MountainMan »

I've really fallen for the Camillus Yello-Jaket series of knives however, is this one here really worth $200? http://www.ebay.com/itm/130881347489?ss ... 1423.l2649

What am I missing?

TBH, I love the look of this knife. I just can't swing $200 for this atm especially with my home projects list and my purchasing of knife making and repairing supplies.

Is this something worth saving up for or is it worth less than what he is asking?

I was thinking of making him an offer of around $75.00 when he relists it later. I just dont see it selling otherwise.

Hey MM,

I think the seller is super high on all of his knives ..... he's either been drinking or dreaming, both can get you in trouble.

Overly priced knives for sale on ebay is everywhere and is bound to happen with the "Free to list" specials ebay is promoting to anyone who wants to sell. This will even further how screwed up prices and values have become since ebay first started screwing them up. So you have people with too much time on their hands offering up things to sell that they would normally keep. But heck, "If they'll pay this much for it then I'm selling it" seems to have become the new way of thinking for many so called collectors. I think that it's a waste of bandwidth and slows down the overall flow of serious business on ebay. I can't wait until ebay has some real competition and thins out a bit. It's already limiting search results too much as it is.... One day she's gonna crash... For some reason the figure of $27.00 comes to mind when I see the knife your considering. ::shrug::
