Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Here's one that I carry regularly. I bought it for $10.00 as a cheap-o for work. (I was working a job where if you dropped something there wasn't any chance of getting it back) It doesn't have a makers name, just "China" and "Stainless Steel". It's assisted opening. To my complete shock and amazement it has been a durable and useful knife that holds an edge pretty damn well.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Beautiful wood on that one Charlie. Is it Bocote?
I had the same two in my pockets today that I did yesterday: A.W. Wadsworth & Son sleeveboard pen knife in french ivory celluloid, and Case Peanut in chestnut bone. I took this shot this afternoon just outside my office. I don't know why, but there is a huge plastic trash can full of seashells behind our building. Picked an odd looking one for a prop.
The interesting thing about the camera eye is it sees everything. I did not see the two tiny flowers to the left of the shell when taking the shot, only later when previewing the pics to load on my laptop.

Thank you Gino, I do too!
I was very fortunate to pick up for a very reasonable price this pre-WW II Jewish made German knife. Aapparently the Nazi Party shut down their factory in 1936, confiscating it and turning it into a production facility for umbrella ribs.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Very funny singin! I have pretty good sphincter control and the military taught me to blouse my pants legs just in case!
It should arrive Tuesday or Wednesday, I can't wait to get my hands on it. I purchased two Case canoes in mint condition for my collection but I also wanted a new EDC. I have many knives that I carry but like most knife nuts, I like to add a new one every once in a while. I've been admiring GECs from afar for awhile now and decided it was time to try one. Moore Maker is another one that I've been looking at, the next time my budget hits "green light" status I'll probably snag one of them.
Doug, yes the handles are bocote. I love that wood. It's not as pretty as your rosewood LLoyd but it's a looker for sure. I was looking real hard at those Tidioute lumberjacks but the large trapper won out.
I was going to go fishing down at the creek today but it's raining to beat the band here right now. Weathermen are the only professionals who lie more frequently than politicians!
So now I'm watching movies and sharpening my EDCs.
The dogs are sitting at the back door beside my fishin' bag looking at me as if to say "let's go!" but it's raining pretty hard with thunder and lightening, don't think I want to stand hip deep in water with a 6' rod in my hand right now!!!!

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
These two have been getting some pocket time this week; the little 12OT Schrade got carried because I was wearing my dress blues last night and wanted something very light in my front pocket. The Frontier medium stockman has been in my pocket all week because I am still quite pleased with myself due to resurrecting it from being a piece of pawnshop junk a couple of weeks ago.

I had forgotten about this one! It rides in a pouch on the front of my fishing bag. I sharpened it up today, time to go fishing!

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Got to liking canoes here lately - - seems like they are a little easier than my trappers on my banged up thumb. This (chinee) Buck got some rough use and lost that factory edge so I dug out one of the Rough Rider canoes and man is it sharp - - I mean the small blade is razor SHARP. And it is every bit as quality as the Buck.
