I do wear leather galluses or suspenders or braces everyday! I'm 6'4", 350#, and got no butt hardly at all. I have those galluses, a belt, Justins, a Resistol/Stetson, and Wranglers everyday. I'm in the construction material buisness, plus farming, and messing around in the cattle business some, too. You have to have a knife or two, or three, or four...

I don't know if I know Phil or not. We live 10 or 12 miles apart, but I don't know his last name. I may have to get him to go on a knife hunt with me this summer. There's a couple of pretty good flea markets around here fairly close that usually have some knife traders around.

My wife's family are all from Harlan County and I'm an Arizona boy. We got more guitars, fiddles, mandolins, and banjos around the place than you can shake a stick at. Even have a stand up bass player and dulcimer player in the family. Sounds like I'm in good company on this thread!

BigVic, his last name is Thompson. Vieu, two sides of my family are from High Bridge, Houp and Murphy, though the Murphy's are more Mercer and Garrard County. My great and g-great grandfathers (Houp) are buried in Wilmore Cemetery and my ggg-gf in High Bridge. Still got cousins in Jessamine Co. You might know Ken Houp.

Nice! Good lookin' knife and a good lookin' axe. That's an Ulster Easy open, Right? And the Guitar? I can't make out the label. I like the tiger strip pick guard. I like guitars as much as I like knives. Here's one that I do carry frequently. I tend to carry the guitar around quite a bit too

Had the Northfield and the Case with me this afternoon as I finally got to spend some time doing much needed yard work. Well, actually I had the Peanut with me all day long, put the 72 in my back pocket when I started working in the yard after lunch. Just barely got done before sunset.

Thanks Charlie, so do I. It doesn't have the crazy beautiful swirl cocobolo that some have posted, but it is a nice grain. And I love the slim profile of the 72.
