I carried this Imperial today. The run up is just a little off, but what a knife. Strong springs. Thanks.

Mike, are those liner locks on the Cub Scout knife?

I've never seen one with locks on it. Did Camillus make other BSA type knives with liner locks? That is really, really cool.

Went out earlier with my Dad. Jeans. Had my Case CV Medium Amber Stockman RFP, Imperial Scout LFP, Case CV Peanut Yeller Watch Pocket.
And had my Meyerco Necklance on under nice shirt.

When I changed to shorts and a T at home I wanted SOMETHING sharp so I pocketed my China Buck Trapper (which is plenty sharp!) and did not remove Necklance.

Well FINALLY this one is back in my pocket. A long story, but to be brief, I had to empty my pockets before being admitted to the hospital back in June, gave a Case Tony Bose Swayback to a friend to hold and he misplaced it .... until now ..... back in my pocket after 4 months, boy did I feel somewhat naked without this little jewel.

Yes sir pinnah they lock the screwdriver and awl/punch blades. I think all the cub scout knives have them but I'd have to check. I've never seen a boy scout knife with them. If you want a cool inexpensive knife pick up a Camillus old cub scout knife. I've gotten them on eBay for as little as $3.

I love those Russell barlows Johnnie, you've got a beauty there. I have a nice green one that needs to see some pocket time soon. The scale on the pile side is smooth.

Hi Jerry,
there is a description for the term in "other" in top right hand corner of page, under "knife definitions".

This is such a nice knife that it dosn't bother me too much, although I wish it weren't there. To be fixed the knife would have to come apart and franklly I don't see how it would solve anything because as things are the blades are in good alignment.
This is why it and many other knives with warts end up on the bay. Thanks.

EDIT: Well, after checking; maybe the blades alighment could be improved. But it aint comeing apart.

i found this case xx 3 dot, 6202 1/2 in a box of knives I collected as a kid. Any time I get to clean up an older knife it automaticlly becomes my new favorite and I just cant put it down.

Yeah....I had a nice redbone XX era one like that ....I got Her for a real good price, cleaned Her up...had it for about a year. ::nod::
Came across one in an AAPK store in MINT condition.......so I sold my Old one to help pay for the mint one. :| ..When the mint one got here ...it had a pin crack that looked a bit like the Grand Canyon.."under magnification of course".... the Fellow that I got it from had no problem with a refund or another knife....so He sent me a mint Dogshead Ka-Bar with stag scales. :|
....End of story..right?....not quite....my Post Master stole it!!! ::barf::
I'm trying to take him to small claims Court as we speak!! ::facepalm::

Sorry for the long story Folks but this is the 4th knife that He has stolen in 6 Months!! ::td:: :x
and the POST OFFICE is no help......at all!! ::barf:: :x

from what i understand, it was ten dots in 1970, and minus a dot for each yr after. So three dots would be 1977. Correct me if Im wrong guys, I got that info here.

Heck, I was only 17 then. REAL knife interest was in the distance still....

Today is about done for me.

Tomorrow I think maybe my Imperial Ireland Dogleg in RFP and maybe Grandpaw's Schrade Yeller in LFP.
