moose meeting

gec stag big horn----gec moose appalosa bone--winchester[queen] bone & northwoods scagel in 60v alloy. the scagel is labeled Gladitor & 60v is a discontinued powder alloy replaced by cpm with 90v. these v alloys are great edge holders but 60v is touted to be brittle above 58 rockwell. if a fellow is good at knife using he wo'nt get microchips with 60v & in catra tests this stuff outcut s30 about 200%. personally i'm real happy with gec 1095 at 58 rock. i have used many of the atomic alloys but good 1095 is fine for my fields.--HiPower

Nice ones. Is the appalosa one on the 53 frame? It looks smaller/different than the stag one.

both are 54s but the stag is really thick & the dark edges of the bone make it look slimmer.--HiPower
