Hey folks. Need some help identifying a case xx tested stockman? I am not well versed on the older cases and hope one of the many experts on here can tell me what I have. I have not seen a stockman with a coping blade before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You were wise to ask ! Case 6380 does have a coping blade but the knife in question is a counterfeit . Case did not make a red bone tested 6380 (only green bone and Rogers bone) . The knife in question also has stainless steel blades (IMHO) .

Knife is not a stockman, it's a whittler, and it's not uncommon to see coping blades on whittlers. Of course, as robinetn has already noted, it's also not a Case.

I agree with everyone saying this knife is not a genuine case. But case does make a knife like this a stockman whittler. Here is a pic of a original case. It is a 6347

Jearl,
I think that the 6347 that you posted is a modern one. I have never seen a pattern like that one in the Tested era (or even in the Case XX USA era for that matter) as the knife above purports to be. The OP knife is supposed to be a 6380 big whittler.
