Remington Gunstock

Post by dcgm4 »

I can't believe this seller. He even states that it "may well be a reproduction" (no doubt in my mind it is) but still wants $200 for it!

In picture number 5 you can actually see the the letters Co in the steel from where the original tang stamp was ground off!

I see a dot on the steel, but nothing stamped "CO".

Either I am blind or the resolution on my monitor is poor ::shrug::

It's there. I hit the "supersize" and even though the pic is less than crisp, can make out the "CO" Ironhoarder was speaking of.

Here ya go.

Thanks Willie,

I see the area you are talking about, and can see something, just to me it does not look like CO ::undecided::

I see it, Iron Hoarder! But I never would have noticed if you hadn't pointed it out. Another lesson about reading the knife. And now I also see an extra period before the U in U.S.A.

IT sure looks like CO. to me. The picture leaves a LOT to be desired as to clarity. I might can sharpen it up a bit and if I can, I'll post it.

AS for the avatar? I found that picture and thought it would make a great avatar for a few laughs. Got a few more, I'll be showing in the weeks to come. STAY TUNED for more madness. LMAO

I fooled with the image of that knife.

It appears there was something else under the "CO." but there is no way to tell with the picture the seller provided.
