Unusual Products From Camillus, (or how do I classify this?)

The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

Unusual Products From Camillus, (or how do I classify this?)

Post by orvet »

I have been working with Tom Williams (former Company Historian for Camillus Cutlery Company), to document Camillus products in a fashion similar to what I did with Schrade in the Research Section here on AAPK.

There a variety of reasons why Camillus has proved more of a challenge than Schrade was.

The following 4 items are but one reason as they do not fit easily into a list of knives.

CAmillus dress Shirts a1.JPG
Camillus dress shirts b1.JPG
Camillus dress shirts c1.JPG

These come from a catalog c. 1964 or 1965

I am sending this catalog and one other to Larry (LRV) to post on his website:

I never cease to be amazed by unusual product mixes!
