Karambit?
My buddy's kid gave me this knife today, mainly because his dad wouldn't let him keep it.

Re: Karambit?
Google says: “Originating in the Indonesian archipelago (and popular throughout Southeast Asia like the Philippines and Malaysia), the karambit dates back to at least the 11th century. It was originally designed as an agricultural tool for raking roots, gathering threshing, and planting rice, but was quickly adopted by practitioners of martial arts.
Because of the finger ring, users can manipulate items while keeping the knife securely attached to their hand. It is used for everyday tasks like opening shipping boxes, cutting cordage, or stripping wires without dropping the tool.”
