Hello, I wanted to share a few pictures of a knife my father gave me and I’m curious what would be worth if I ever wanted to sell it. It’s a gold plated DogHead with the case and certificate. Something about this knife I just admire. I wouldn’t ever want to use it. Just take it out and hold my precious and look at it. If anyone knows more about it that would be great too. I know valuing can be difficult and it would be nice to know, but I’m quite content to have it. I’d like a couple of its siblings too

Re: Ka-Bar Knife question
Worth maybe $250 on the high end. I bought a similar one and I paid $275 but I really liked it. Very well made knives in my opinion. And being a gift from your dad….priceless

Yes, there wouldn't be enough to get rid of that.

You have a very nice knife.
Have you ever considered the regret if you sold the knife your father gave you?

Re: Ka-Bar Knife question
The dog head isn't gold plated it is solid 14K gold. The knife wasn't actually made by KA-BAR, it was made by Queen who made most of the knives for the KA-BAR Collectors Club since the KA-BAR factory was closed down by the time your sweet knife was made.
