I'm just about finished with my Case 028 Teardrop collection; however, before I'm done, naturally I had to get one with Case's signature 6.5 Bone Stag....no question what this iconic bone is called

Your lovely wife picked out a lovely knife
I've always liked that Persimmon Bone....so bright and cheerful but also warm
....and so much nicer than the orange synthetic

Lovely wife and lovely knife. Very thoughtful of her. And i do agree about the Persimmon Orange being better than their Orange Synthetic. A lot more classy.toomanyknives wrote: ↑Sun Dec 28, 2025 1:37 am Those are two new beauties you have there, ~Q~...

Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
Picked up this Ivory Kirinite TBI1028 which will probably be the final installment in my Teardrop sub-collection unless I can find any more Wharncliffe blade versions (028W) that I don't have. For a synthetic material, the Kirinite is remarkably similar to genuine Elephant Ivory in appearance; might could fool a novice collector, and the "I" prefix in the pattern number tang stamp only adds to the potential misperception that it's genuine ivory.
