Identification mark

Post by Dimi »

Hi guys.
I recently bought a boat knife at a flea market. It was in terrible condition. I started restoring it and saw a stamp. Unfortunately, I can't find any information about the manufacturer of this knife. I would be very grateful for your help.
Sincerely, Dmitry Kruk

Same tang stamp I.T.C. but saw another similar pair that had CHINA on other side.

Not a lot out there on these it seems. Maybe someone with a book can help.

British Infantry would be interesting, as a sailors knife. :D ::shrug::

That appears to me to be a can opener blade out of a British military knife. I think Skip is on the right track with his suggestion of Googling Infantry Training Centre. Checking British knife forums might also help you identify it.

The first one on eBay isn't even close. I've seen it. The hallmarks are not the same. And the second one, yes, but there's a 65, and mine is a 59. And there's not information about who, what, or where. Just speculation.
