The etch is nice but I really think the handle with all the pocket knives depicted is really neat!

Belknap Bluegrass Barlow 5722

My sister found this for me at a flea. It had weak snap and slow opening. The crack in the bone is all the way through. The larger piece was swinging freely, rotating around the one pin. I chose to save the bone instead of rehandling it. I stabilized the crack with epoxy and dyed the bone with a 20 minute dip in 180 degree solution of water and orange rit dye. I cleaned the wells out and used white vinegar applied with a pipette to the pivot area to remove rust. Snap came back to what I would call a 7. Light hand sanding to the blades to smooth out some of the gnarlier scratches. Hand sharpened, polished with an old t-shirt and flitz, sealed the bone with beeswax. I really like carrying this one now.
