CCC, that Cold Steel is a Beast! Very cool knife.

Here are some recent pick-ups I found in my mailbox the past few weeks.

As some of you will probably know, the knives in the row on the right were a few that Q had recently posted for sale. And of course, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to purchase a few of these to add to the hoard, with the exception of the Zippo rough black synthetic with the Lansky mod. spike that was an unexpected and greatly appreciate bomb to go with the other Lansky Zippo 6107 Carver & Muskrat Ratcliffe mods. Also included in that package was the beautiful BIGHEAD 3 blade Mammoth Tooth/Jasper Mini-T build, 1st Issue Green Jigged Bone Mini-T, Natural Smooth Bone 6207W & Queen 51T dressed in ACSB. Thanks again Q, for all these sweet additions to my Mini-T & Wharncliffe sub-collections.

Got this RRR Hedgehog in the mail this week from ' Q '. He had posted a few knives to sell, and I told him I wanted this one to use and compare to RoseCraft. Told him I would post my findings after using it, but after receiving it, I may not use it. It is mint/new, ... looks better than the pics showed. It got here very fast too considering coming across the water. Many thanks Q ... I really like it!

Thanks Tony…most are good…I have gotten a few stinkers, that blades ride to one side or the other, or just seem rough opening but mostly good.

That is a stunning group of folders you posted, I like em' all, but I'd kill for your S & M single blade/stag lockback! I think I actually have one, I'll have to check.

Thanks Marco! The Schatt 04111L is definitely your kinda knife measuring 4 5/8" closed with the spear blade you love so much. However, this one has bone handles instead of stag. I haven't seen this model in stag without the swing guard, but I definitely plan to get the stag version at some point with or without the swing guard. Thanks again brother and keep posting those big ol' cool knives. ::handshake::

Glad you like it Tony, but, I was looking forward to your review and comparison to Rosecraft blades as that was one of the conditions of the sale. If you're not gonna use it and post a detailed review, you're just going to have to send it back for breach of contract.

Okay 'Q', I do not want to be guilty of contract breakage . I did tell you I wanted another user knife. So as of today, it officially goes in the pocket with a RoseCraft in the other pocket. A comparison update is forthcoming ... thanks again! ::handshake::

The RRR should be a step above the regular RR, you know (you sell knives also) that expectation takes step ups from $20 knife to a $50 knife and when you go over $100 it starts getting do I really want this…lol and then if you collect enough you will question yourself when you plunk down way more…been there done that. I’ve said I just paid $700 for a little metal and some bones. I’m the same way with tools…guns….old cars….
