As a relatively new knife collector I have spent the last couple of years gathering up a hoard of older American made knives such as Colonial, Schrade, Imperial and various other traditional pocket knives. Nothing very special compared to many collections I've seen here but I like them. I generally have avoided buying Chinese made knives except for a few cheap user knives. I recently became interested in finding a medium size assisted opening knife to clip in my right front pocket. I did not want to spend too much but wanted something I could use everyday and not be ashamed to pull out in front of other fellas. I ended up buying a small Kershaw from BladeHQ for $20.00 and a Civivi Elementum off Amazon for too much money. The point of my post is that I am shocked at how much I like these little knives. The cheap Kershaw feels just so good in hand and I love the blade shape. The Civivi has a Damascus blade and Micarta handles and is too nice to carry in my opinion. Hence my purchase of a second Elementum with a plain Nitro V blade and G-10 for carry. I am really impressed with the quality of the Civivi knives, razor sharp and very smooth operation.
Chinese made knives are no joke.

Sweet looking trio.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!
