Thank you Tim, Floyd and QS!! These knives are well built! My first Hunter and that Trapper is mighty fine and my very first white bone knives! And they only made 100 of each. Very generous and I've been (chicken eyeing and coon fingering them since I got them) (a nod to Jerry
)!!

Just pulled the trigger on this one. Why? Because it's flamboyantly patriotic. (even if it is made in China)

Westward 401L14, possibly the only good successor to the Western Forge made Sears Craftsman 94160. The new Chinese-made versions (as well as most other copies--i.e. Cornwell) that appear in Lowe's screwdriver packs are cheaply stamped and don't engage a screw. I tried the Marble's/SMKW of the old Colt sight tool/grip tool 3-in-1 from the '70s--terrible again because of the rounded stamped driver tips. Recently came across the Westward one on the Grainger website looking at random tools. I noticed that the Westward had the same ground tips as the old Craftsman, so I decided to give it a shot.
Grainger's shipping on the site was $10 for a dozen. Grainger's shipping through eBay was $5. While other retailers had them, I think Westward is a Grainger brand. I bought several, as I plan to retire my three Craftsman/Western Forge versions, give a few out as gifts, and keep several as spares.
