Your knife corner is enviable, Charlie. Very well thought out and displayed.

Coooooooooooooooooooooool. ::tu:: :mrgreen:

My KUTMASTER on the bars of Frank Morris's cell at Alcatraz. The dummy head he made in the bed that he used to fool the guards while he was out of his cell scouting a way over the walls. One of the portraits he painted above and a white towel hangs over the hole where the air vent grate should be where he exited his cell and the utility corridor he climbed to the roof in. Also one of my son and I in front of the Morris cell #138, and a few shots around San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. CA was beautiful and interesting, great food and it was fun everywhere we went. Great place to visit and would recommend it. ::tu::

Thanks for the memories, Iman. I first became familiar with San Francisco when I was stationed at Fr.Ord. I remember my last meal in San Francisco the night before leaving for the land of the elephant: fried scallops....delicious.

Years later I first saw Mt. Shasta under a spectacularly clear night with a full moon. It was spectacularly beautiful.

Great pics Iman! ::tu::

I'm a lover of mountains and Mt. Shasta has always been one of my favorites. Beautiful scenery. ::clapping::

I'm not so fond of prisons like Alcatraz, they give me the creeps. I remember touring the Yuma Territorial Prison in AZ when I was a kid and thinking I'd better watch myself or I could end up vacationing at the "Greybar" Hotel. The accommodations aren't to my liking. :lol:

What a way to incorporate a pocket knife picture into a great set of memories! I hope you and your son had a great time together.
The views from the bridge were beautiful, and the history of Alcatraz really intriguing.
Thank you for sharing!

Great shots, Joe and I-Man! ::tu:: Is the itty-bitty Queen genuine MOP? And seeing Mt. Shasta reminds me of a trip I took to that area in the 1990s...beautiful country out that way.

Thanks a lot Quick, doglegg, Reverand, dlr110, Dan, Squach. Appreciate the comments and sooooooo glad you gents like checking them out. I love seeing stuff from others people's trips and great photos of the landscape like Rose and Thistle keeps bringing. So tried to keep up. Glad someone else appreciates it. That's Donovan doglegg, thanks for the mention, he's one of the best. Never been a discipline problem, always trying to help, courteous, gentle personality and never given us a bit of grief. Exceeded every expectation we ever had and that's with some serious obstacles to deal with. The whole trip was to commemorate his birthday and take him somewhere he's never been before to see some new things. Thanks again. ::handshake::
