Cornwall Knife Company New York Antique Knife?

I recently bought a bag of knifes at a local thrift store. In my research I have found several like one of the knifes with claims it was manufactured between 1900 and 1920. I would like to verify that if possible. There is some damage to the knife. I have included several photos for your review. If you care to share value that would be great, but not necessary. I have not decided whether to keep it or sell it at this point.

There is a previous discussion of Cornwall knives here somewhere.

They are not very valuable, nor are they highly collected.

I have a four blade here somewhere that one of my sons picked out at a knife show when he was a boy.

It’s a nicer knife than the one you posted, but still not very valuable.

I suspect they were made by Camillus or some other large manufacturer that marketed under several brand names.

I have had a few knives that were stamped Cornwall. This is a quote from a post I made in 2010 in the Camillus forum regarding Cornwall knives.
I agree that they are not particularly valuable, at that time, (2010), I think I probably paid less than $10 for the Cornwall knife I posted.

Here is the quote from my post in 2010.

Goins' says; "CORNWALL KNIFE CO. NEW YORK USA G 1900-1920"

The "g" in front of the date in Goins means “guesstimates” as to the date based on John Goins knife knowledge and his knack of remembering most every knife he had seen.
This is from the Introduction (page iii) to the 1998 edition, written by his wife, Charlotte.


Bernard Levine, in LG4, lists this as a manufacturers brand of Camillus, made by Camillus circa 1930s.

So, it may be a Camillus after all.
