It's a good thrower, Mark.

Be careful out there, John.

Some more shots of my hike on the mountain. That Maple tree has green leaves almost until Christmas each year, not sure why? ::shrug::

The Holly Tree was all the way down in the valley, Maple tree, hunting hut and rotting Chicken of the Woods were up on the mountain. Also some snow remnants kicking around from this past weekend.

First day in the WMD, gard. Sights around the farm this morning, another guy got one too. I guess the horses grew into their Winter coats. 🤭 Not as cold as it was last weekend.

Nice sunrise Dogg.

Wife and I put the boat in earlier this week (had it back inland for the annual servicing). Decided to fish an hour or so before putting it back up in the lift, too cool for my wife to stay on the water on Bogue Sound very long. We were fishing for Spotted Sea Trout, but all I was catching were the little Snapper Blues. OH

Looks awesome, OH! ::tu::

A couple more harvests today. The 3 point has pretty much the same body weight as the 2-8 points.

Goodness, Redrider, y'all are stackin' 'em up!
I sure enjoy this time of the year, not so much the cold but the hunting and fishing that goes on. A bunch of fellers around here keep saying it's not cold enough for the deer to be moving. ::shrug:: I've given up trying to convince the young fellers that the deer lives here year round and cold weather just makes it better for hangin' one in the old oak tree.
My picture contributions for today are from Thanksgiving Day. Watching my son instruct his 6-year-old son about a bit of pond fishing. Brought back some memories and also some observations. The big thing I see when a youngster is not brought up on the farm, they're almost like ducks out of water trying to understand and do physical things related to the outdoors, things that seem so natural back when my son was that age. ::hmm::

Redrider, you are stacking em up - full freezer ahead!
Phil, good to see the young ones giving it a try, if the bug bites, he'll get all the details worked out in time.

Seeing your pictures Phil reminds me of 55 years ago when my dad did the same for me! Great memories for sure! ::hmm:: It looks like the little one is gonna grow-up to be a hunk just like his pops, and I'm gonna assume his grandpops too! lol! Great shots! 8)
