Re: Old Knives With A Punch Blade
Hey Guys, Looking for some "Punch" blade experts to chime in on this knife. This punch blade looks like a 2-piece style that was patented by NYK?? This one however has No Patent#'s on it?? Was this a copy from Camillus?? I dont recall seeing this before. No model# on back of this Camillus either. I think I will post this variation in the Camillus forum too and see if anyone recognizes it
Thanks everyone for the help
Kind Regards,
Mark

Re: Old Knives With A Punch Blade
I like knives with punch blades. Both of these are well used but have great snap.
R3653. Kind of an odd blade configuration. Listed to have physician's, spear, surgical, spey, & punch. Has milled liners.
R105B. See the R100B often but I haven't seen one with pyremite handles before.

Just picked up this Remington. Due to the two different tang stamps I can narrow the date from ca.1933-35

Re: Old Knives With A Punch Blade
I didn't know this nice thread existed.
Very nice knives on this page.
I am showing a Craftsman and a Keen Kutter and a Shapleigh.
The Shapleigh is sporting a Boker sheepfoot. I don't know why.

Nice ones Steve and Joe
Joe I especially like that Craftsman, still has the etch!
Here's one I like everything about except the chip out of the tip of the blade!

Both of these Paxton & Gallaghers have "punch" blades. One is a whittler, the other a harness jack.

Great Thomaston, that is a knife made with purpose. Love ebony jacks. Lots of great knives being posted here. Quite a show. Merry Christmas!Miller Bro's wrote:Nice ones Steve and JoeJoe I especially like that Craftsman, still has the etch!

SteveC, great looking knife.SteveC wrote:Just picked up this Remington.
This R882 has some of the biggest snap and half stop of any knife I have. Slick black handles.

Yes, David, I believe it is original. Someone mentioned that it was when I posted it (somewhere?) in September.

Yes, the bail is original. I have a later version with plastic handles.

Another great thread here on AAPK. Love following along to see all the great knives being posted. Here are the only three I have. A Schrade, a Honk Falls and a prototype 897 UH

Very nice. Who made that one Dimitri? Looks a bit like Ulster.
