I'll take a picture of it later to post, but I'm carrying my 1996 Case Limited Edition Series III Barlow w/ Rogers jigged Butternut bone handles. I've been carrying this one on a pretty regular basis since I bought it new 14 years ago.

When I carry two knives, I carry it plus one of my Case Razors (jade, sunburst, periwinkle, antique bone, elkhorn, key lime or Crandall green). Here's a picture of the Key Lime that I bought from Collector Knives (and this is his picture):

froggy, I agree... I have had this one probably since the mid or early 80's and it is still tight as a drum. I've used it a lot so it's worn a little but still holding up, g... TD

Thanks, guys!

I like the Barlow so much that I carry it by itself in my pocket--no keys, change, or even my soft leather wallet--so there's no chance of dinging up that great butternut bone handle.

Does that make me a little paranoid or just overly protective??

I think it just means you want to carry your nice old knife and that you want to keep your nice old knife nice. (Try saying that three times fast)

Nothing wrong with that!

That is why if I only have two front pockets there will be a Chinese knife in those pockets.

Change along with one in left and a Fenix flashlight along with the one in right.

Just can't do that to my good knives!

If I have cargo pockets then something else will get carried....

Maybe I'm weird, but the first thing I did when I got my GEC Mink Skinner (the most I've ever paid for a pocket knife) was sharpen it.

Immediately after that I dropped it in my pocket, which already contained a set of keys and a cell phone.

Right after that I smiled because I knew I had found a very nice knife for pocket carry.

I bought it to use. I won't abuse it, but it will get carried. I've got another GEC which I have hardly breathed on. It probably won't get carried--it's REAL purty. I need to get some pics of that up here in the proper place.

If I had a nice old Case like that Barlow, I'd probably getting one of those leather slips to carry it in.
