It's really simple, Big Monk. You just keep adding EDC's until you have 365 of them, then just use one and put it away 'til next year!

That works Barry, as long as I can carry more than one knife.Gunstock Jack wrote:It's really simple, Big Monk. You just keep adding EDC's until you have 365 of them, then just use one and put it away 'til next year!![]()

Otherwise it would be over 5 years between times that I carry a single knife!

I normally carry 3 knives (or more) per day and I probably have less than 100 users, but some are better for one purpose than others.
Oh well, I QUIT.......................(thinking about it that is)......................It makes my head hurt.

I am going to carry what I want on a given day and if I carry the same 3 knives for 3 months..........OH WELL!!

New to AAPK and really like the site! My EDC is usually a Case small or medium Stockman and sometimes a Sod Buster Jr. Just picked up a Boker 2525 WBB and for the money it's not a bad carry either.
Stockmans I like to carry:

Boker 2525 that is a nice carry:

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
This Hen & Rooster medium (3 3/8") Stockman has been my most carried knife since I got it probably 20 years ago. It's a Bertram cutlery, and I got it from Smoky Mountain Knifeworks, to the best of my recollection. the shield fell off on a fishing trip, but other than that it's solid as a rock, no wobble, and holds a great edge.
I've got a couple of other knives I carry, but this is what usually gets dropped in the pocket.

Finding this site, to quote Adrian Monk, has been a blessing and a curse. I had never even heard of GEC knives until I came here, and now I have two. One is going to become an EDC. The other one may just be too dang purty...
Pictures of those to come as soon as I figure out how to get decent pics. The level of photography on this site is impressive. Getting the poor ones above gave me fits. The reflection of the blades is tough to deal with!

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?

Thought I'd share my edc knives over the years. Far left is the Old Timer my grandpa had on him when he died.
Carried it for years. Next to that is the Old Timer my wife bought so I wouldn't risk losing grandpa's. Next is a Case
peanut that I just got back from Case - looks better than new. To the right of that is a Case Blackhorn I bought so
I wouldn't have to worry about breaking the scales. A Kershaw I bought with a gift card from Bass Pro
- just couldn't get into this knife - it has no personality to me. Next is a Case with 2 broken blades
I bought at a yard sale. The last one on the right is a Winchester I got as a gift. I would have never bought
it but it isn't bad. The SAK and Sodbuster at bottom are my current EDC's
(you guys have me carrying two knives now.)
