This is some shrapnel from yesterday's bombing run by jmh58. John had posted up this 6235 1/2 and I made comment about how beautiful it was. Next thing I know, my mailbox exploded!
My love has always been for the '66 and '67s, but the more I look at the '65, the more I'm liking it, especially in this maroon with the black vinyl top.
Man, I miss the rumble and the chrome!!

Love this thread. I feel like I have gotten to be friends with some of these knives. But always something new too.

Just got off the phone with Ricky Bob, great conversation as always. Rick is building me a Bose skinner in M2 steel and some special handle material. For those of you who don't know, Rick is a federal trapper, and a damn good one. Rick was a good friend of Tony Bose and Bob Loveless, in fact they both gave Ricky their patterns! Carrying this dogleg that Rick made for me, I bought the mammoth off of Charles Turnage, and Rick kept it in his safe for a year to stabilize.

Those two are gorgeous. Bone color is fab and your lighting and pose as well.

I've always liked the blade profile on the peanut. I do prefer clips over spears. And the peanut does get dressed up in some good looking bone. Just a tad small for my liking. Hmmmm.... maybe if started carrying one...

Threw in a matching 1967 GTO just for fun.
Can't let Steve have all the fun by himself right?

I've wanted a GTO ever sense I was about 10 years old so I thought "What the heck, I'll just buy one!".
