Old Pruning and Horticultural Knives

I could not find a thread just on old Pruning/Horticultural knives here in Knife Lore.

Here is an old one with nice pick bone handles, Holley Lakeville Conn.

Here's an I-XL George Wostenholm pruner with solid brass handles, probably from the 60's. Not that old, but I think a cool knife.

Now that's a cool old pruner. Are the handles horn and are they engraved? Who's the maker? Boy, a lot of questions, huh?

Knife is made by Herder, the blade has an etch "Don Carlos".

The handles are wood, the front side had a name impressed into it, but I cannot make it out.

here's a strange one which is a horticultural knife.
Marked Bayersdorfer co,phila which was and still is as far as I know a florist
in phila.
made in japan,so I assume bayersdorfer had these made for his employies.
pretty neat old knife.

I like the old pruners guys These two Harrison Bros & Howson date circa 1880 and early 1900s respectively.

And a variety old unused Sheffield prunner blades.

I don't have any bone handled Central City knives, wish I did!!! I've seena a nice bone handled Moose but it was not for sale.

I think I have a tortoise shell handle one and maybe a wood handle one.

I have seen an unused bone handle one 15 years ago, it is a very unique jigging pattern

Do you have a knife box by them??
