Yeah i didn't even get a chance to respond about my kukri and comment on your previous batch and you're already showing another one

Well done.
Especially with the bone handled aw wadsworth pens. Those are stellar. I see why you scooped em up. Careful with that ice beer though. Sneaks up on yah.
Unless you just meant ice cold beer.

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Went to a local indoor flea market on Monday, avoiding tools until I get more organization done.
Found a box of various diecast models, and plucked out a Tonka Bobcat (only made a few years), only to be told they weren't for sale by the person at the front desk.
Kind of beginning to question this place--the box had prices, yet no signs saying "NOT FOR SALE". Supposedly, someone (assuming whoever had rented the booth) bought the pieces at some auction (which also begins to make me wonder what's getting sold under the table); and left everything as-is.
But, I spoke with a guy who's pretty knowledgeable about old knives and tools, and while market, he doesn't sell junk. Picked up a Gerber 600 Magnum LST for $15. The smaller 400, inherited from my great-uncle, sparked my love for lightweight folders, and I have wanted to try the bigger one for quite some time.
I like the fatter handle on this one better, and it's still very slim and lightweight for the size, without being uncomfortable. As with my smaller one, the steel these older LSTs used is excellent.
Pretty sure this is an early example, looking at the stamp.

That's a really nice Al Mar 13''er, Dog, I almost bought a copy but couldn't find a non-serrated model, so I settled for their all-metal 9" Secret Service folder, and I'm not sorry I did.GSPTOPDOG wrote: ↑Thu Jun 13, 2024 10:28 pmI have grown fond of the Gecko, and also got some great deals on car insurance to boot![]()
