I am very happy with this Case Marilla. Great overall knife,
The Case Marilla is a great entry for Case into a new part of the knife market, held by Benchmade, Kershaw, etc. etc... Lightweight, strong, great steel; S35VN, tactical and practical...
... best of MADE IN USA!!!

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Started with the usual (couple of traditional folders, Mora Basic, a multitool, my Pocket Wrench II, and a small tape measure) when trying to repair the chickenhouse after another state park dump-off bear tore up the chickenhouse. As the day went on, and things got hotter, I changed up--I changed out my jeans for cheap basketball shorts, and of course, I lightened the load.
Gerber Mini Paraframe and Sears Craftsman USA 94160 4-in-1 screwdriver (probably from the '80s or earlier--came off an old keychain I found in a junk drawer, and replaced a 2011-ish example I bought as a teen and lost). The 4-in-1 is incredibly strong for its weight, and so is the Mini Paraframe. Besides, the Mini Paraframe is cheap and common. The tanto version also does a great job at marking timber.
The new Chinese-made 94160s suck. They are stamped and tumble-polished, thus rounded at the tips. I noticed Grainger has a promising successor, the Taiwanese-made Westward 401L14 appears to be the only suitable successor, as like the old Craftsman, it seems they took the time to grind the tips so they properly engage the screw.
