The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States with roots dating back to 1876. The company manufactured Camillus branded knives and was a prolific contractor for other knife brands up until its last days in 2007 when the company filed for bankruptcy.

This morning these two knives found their way into my CAMILLUS 72 variation collection. Both are Keen Kutter K30, 3 blade, "whittler" pocket knives. I didn't clean either one. I took some pictures and here they are.

Fished this little Schrade 863 out of the bay. Someone had installed different handles and unfortunately overly buffed the blades. But I thought over all it looked knice and the seller lowered the price to reasonable so it is now with friends. Thanks for looking.

I just acquired this CAMILLUS 72 variation. It's a McGrew ARKANSAS, 3 blade, yellow handles, HillBilly Classic, "whittler" pocket knife. My fourth McGrew, my first with yellow handles. It comes with the box. I am pleased with this purchase.
Not my pictures.

Skip, I don't have one of the yellow ones but a brown Delrin one. DSCN4058.JPG Maybe one of these day I'll be able to get a yellow handle. Good pick up.
Another nice one doglegg!! As I told Skip, I had never heard of that namebrand. Now something else for me to keep an eye out for.

A little earlier today, I purchased these three knives. These three CAMILLUS 72 variations. I bought it also, but "ignore" the Remington "Bird Knife." First it's, as far as I can tell, an "unbranded", 3 blade, swelled center, "whittler" pocket knife. I'll have to investigate the shield. Next up, it's an ULSTER 63, 3 blade, swelled center, "whittler" pocket knife. Again, missing the shield. What is it with ULSTER 63's and missing shields? Last is a POWR-KRAFT, 3 blade, swelled center, "whittler" pocket knife. I can't tell from the pictures, but I hope it's stamped 84-11. They all look to be in good condition. When they arrive, each will receive a thorough inspection. I will take pictures and post them in the appropriate location(s). Not my pictures.
