What Is It?

Post by dcgm4 »

I posted this knife under "Knife Finds Of the Day," but I think I'll have a better chance of finding out what it is here. The knife has a blade on one end. The other end has two blades with the bottom edges serrated and top edges are sharp as well. It's marked "18-8 Stainless Japan."

Some brave souls have already ventured the guesses grafting knife, sushi knife, and wine opening tool. ::mdm:: My first impression was some kind of kitchen tool or fish cleaner, though I think the serrations are too small for scaling a fish.

So how 'bout it, folks? Does anyone know what it is or want to take a guess? ::hmm::

I really have no clue but I am going with a tool used to de-vein shrimp. That my story and I'm sticking to it! ::tu::

Definitely a grapefruit knife and a nice one too! That's only the second one of that style I've seen(I posted a pic of the other one)
