Cherokee knife John Kennedy commemorative
This is a knife I found a few years ago and don't know much about. Anybody with information (date of manufacture, whatever), I'd appreciate hearing from you. I'll send a pic if it helps....and if I can figure out how to do it!

Well, I did it (I hope). Here's a picture of the knife and thanks for the instructions for uploading pics. I hope somebody can tell me something about this piece. I'd kind of like to sell it, but don't know whether it has value. I was told once by a 'trade days' vendor that it was worth maybe $250.00, but I didn't want to sell at the time and don't know how knowledgeable he was.

Goins:
Cherokee Cutlery Co. Amity Ark. g 1975 - 1990 (The g stands for guesstimate as oppossed to circa.)
Also Goins says Case made some knives marked Cherokee c 1977-1978
MY GOINS JUST SPLIT IN HALF! At least my brother has a printing company and has experience with paperback bindings!

Re: Cherokee knife John Kennedy commemorative
I have a similar JFK commemoritive knife. It has "1965" engraved on the metal handle end cap. It is engraved differently so I cannot be sure it is authentic.
If that date is accurate it does not match the Cherokee Co dates listed below
Does anyone have any input?
