Opening with a pair of Queens

I've been trying to sell a few knives to pay for certain, uh, knife-related over-expenditures I've made recently. I've traded a few and sold a few, but interest in my traditionals hasn't been very high. Hopefully they'll be more appreciated on AAPK which is where I started all my collecting initially.

Boxes come with both knives.

First up is a large Queen KKCA knife 5 1/4 inch folding hunter made for the Kansas Knife Collectors Association’s 5th Anniversary in 1994. It was 1 of 100 made for them and has the serial number 003 on the bolster. The handles are made of corn cob jigged bone. The shield is the state of Kansas. The steel is probably 420HC stainless steel. I’ve had the knife for about three years and have never used or sharpened it. There’s a light scuff mark or two on the bolsters from bumping around with other knives, but otherwise it’s like new. No scratches or marks of any kind, solid lock up in all directions. The only flaw I see is the backspring doesn’t align flush with the blade when open. I’ve included a pic of this as best I can. It comes in the box it sold with.
This is a limited edition collectors item in immaculate condition. It was appraised at $95 back in 2009 (https://books.google.com/books?id=E6NZd ... =PA514&lpg...).

Second up is a Queen Mountain Man made in 1978. The handle material is dark brown bark Delrin. The blade is 440C. It’s about the same size as a GEC 42. I’ve only had the knife about three years, but I’ve never used or sharpened it and it just sat in a pouch with some other knives, talking about whatever it is knives talk about, which accounts for a few of the scuffs on the bolsters. Other than that, the knife is in great shape. Lock up is rock solid in all directions. The back spring is flush, though a hair off kilter, with the blade. There are no scratches or evidence of the blade having been sharpened, so I think it was a safe queen. The blade is not perfectly centered, but it doesn’t rub either. There’s a bit of fine pitting on the inside of the backspring which is only visible in the half open position (there’s no half stop on this).
