Saynor pruning knife

Post by zed6309 »

Hi all, I picked up a old tool box the other day , I collect old tools , in the pic on the sellers advert I noticed this knife and thought it looked like a old pruning knife and possibly a saynor, well it is ::tu:: I'm going to remove a bit from the kick and drop the worn blade down a bit so I can carry it , it's got lovely scales on it and bolster and back plate , very happy ::tu::

Thanks guys ::tu:: it was a cool find amongst all the old tools ,I've dropped the blade into the frame , sadly it's well worn on the inside part of the blade that rubs against the backspring so hardly any snap, but it's a tad stiff in the frame so holds open and closed ok , lovely looking knife ::tu::
