Congrats Eddie, I'm heading to the Post Office in a while and they will be on the way.Sundog Knives wrote: ↑Fri Oct 01, 2021 2:11 pm Shocked and excited to learn this news before I logged on from my friend Olde Cutler (who is celebrating his 50th Wedding Anniversary btw). Congrats Jim and Anita!
I am super happy to win this knife and authored book. No, not changing my handle to LuckyDog but fitting perhaps.
Thanks again David for your donation and to AAPK community in general for the opportunity to participate in such a great forum.

Well a package arrived today from Texas much to my anticipation and after dinner, with the kids huddled around, I opened up David’s most generous donation: single blade Venture by H.M. Slater, Sheffield with a triple-grooved bolster and stunning stag handles; the package also contained not one but two signed books David has recently authored. Included in the package was a personal message from David about the knife’s origins and a brief summary of his publications. Again, thank you!

Better in the hand Sundog. And the crew seems to approve.

I'm very happy the package arrived safely. I hope you and the younger ones all enjoy the books and pass on the joy and fun of knife collecting....Sundog Knives wrote: ↑Thu Oct 07, 2021 12:57 am Well a package arrived today from Texas much to my anticipation and after dinner, with the kids huddled around, I opened up David’s most generous donation: single blade Venture by H.M. Re: September 2021 AAPK Monthly Giveaway
I stopped by to see Sundog today and he let me "coonfinger" his newly acquired knife. That is nothin' but nice. I particularly like the triple rat tail bolsters.
