Show your Tool Knife kits

Here is my newest eBay find: A complete Imperial knife with interchangeable tool blades - for $12 including shipping!

It has a musty smell from storage, so everything is about to get cleaned and oiled. I know that this does not have the collector's value of some other brands, but I still love it! I have always loved convertible, multi-use tools, and this is right up my alley! This one probably dates from the late 50's to late 60's - so it is at least as old as I am (and I feel like an antique!)

So who else has a Knife Tool set that they want to show off?

Nice score! I think the tool kits are an under appreciated part of knife collecting.While not the most practical thing in the world they are unique and the knives contained in them usually have great steel that will take and hold a keen edge.
Imperial offered a sheepfoot blade(such as yours)as well as a spear point.Utica also offered a similar kit. The European sets seemed to be a little more complex and offered a myriad of tools to fit the handle(s)and such accoutrements as pliers and levels and other tools.Some of the European kits had handles that allowed you to install the tool either parallel or at 90 degrees to the handle.
I've accumulated quite a few over the years(I think I did a post on them awhile back)and one of the most unique ones I have uses an adjustable wrench for a handle and the other end houses the removeable tools.It is also the only one I have ever seen that has a pair of scissors as a tool to install.

Here’s mine, with a sheepsfoot Imperial as the knife.
It’s been an advertising item, ‘Compliments of the Florida-Georgia Tractor Company.’ Nice freebie!
The plastic pockets are brittle so I haven’t dared to clean it up much. The knife is nice though.
It was a very kind ‘bomb’ back in the Spring!
I have several of the plaid Richards but none are toolkits. Richards abound here and it’s just a matter of time.

It has a musty smell from storage, try putting the cover in a small box with one or two dryer sheets a few day's. said to work for musty books between the pages. Bob

I was out of town for work, had some time to kill at the end of the day, and ran across this little Japanese-made darling for $6 at an antique store.
There are no other attachments with it, but I think it was worth what I paid.

Arriving recently in a very large group or lot of pocket knives that I bought, this item now becomes the most recent example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT buy the group or lot to obtain this particular item. But, as it turned out, this item is definitely a keeper and will be a welcome addition to my general pocket knife collection. It is an Imperial, one blade, five removable and changable tools, one tang stamp, 3 3/4" closed, pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says "Imperial (with crown) (over) PROV. USA" Overall, the pocket knife, the tools and the vinyl carrying or storage case are ALL in EXCELLENT condition. They needed very little cleaning. I took some pictures and here they are.

That is a neat one, Skip. I wound up with two of those, both had the smooth cracked ice celluloid wraps on the handles and advertisements printed on them. I gave one to my brother for his birthday.

Here is the Imperial that (I think) I posted before.

This second one is made in Japan, but has no brand name or advertising name on it. I had one with the hammer on it first (posted previously), but found another complete set later. The saw blade on this one is rather wicked!
