Here's an unusual Mini-T: A single blade factory sample Queen #51 with Rosewood handle. OCD Mini-T Monkey is all in a tizzy because the "Big Q" tang stamp dates this one as a 1945-1955 release, and yet it came in a white (DFC era) Schatt & Morgan box with an ID label that is correct for this knife. It certainly doesn't look 66-76 years old, so how that happened is indeed a mystery.

Unless this is actually a "Small Q" stamp from the 1971 transition period--which would make more sense, but still doesn't explain the S&M box.

Just came by this mini trapper today. Single blade slimline with walnut handle. Fit and finish are excellent. Gator snap. Bear & Son. This brand is underrated in my opinion.

Really like that pattern & B&S did well with that one. Is that current production or an older one ?

Cool looking Mini-T Jerry. Hey, its a Case, It's a Mini-T, one of the best size Trappers IMHO, it's Amber Bone, that's pretty special to me.

Ah, the ubiquitous Amber Bone 6207...a genuine "classic" I actually prefer the Amber Bone with equal parts Amber & White Bone, like the one you got, because it reminds me of caramel syrup drizzled on vanilla ice-cream!

Nice score, jerryd...not only does it "fatten up the pile" (although probably not as much as a big bowl of caramel-topped ice-cream would ), but it enhances and beautifies it as well.

For someone who took a long time to warm up to wooden knife handles, I sure seem to be adding an awful lot of them to my Mini-T pile lately.
