Another red bone Schatt & Morgan. Reverse Gunstock pattern. Excellent F&F and good but not ferocious snap. No gap in the runups. Towards the end of their production S&Ms had some iffy quality control. My experience has been problem free. I believe this Is due to patronizing the AAPK stores. The sellers want contented customers and aren't going to offer you a dog. Kudos to Sharpnshiny Knives and Kennedy Knives and others.

Fine looking cutlery everybody. ::tu::

These two knives arrived yesterday. Both are Camillus 72 variations. First, an Imperial, 3 blade, swelled center, scouting "whittler" pocket knife. Second, a Craftsman 9494, 3 blade, swelled center, "whittler" pocket knife. Both needed a little cleaning. I took some pictures and here they are.

Nice looking Sabre Barlow Ryan, ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu::
I have the same Sabre Barlow but yours is in much better condition.
Do you know how to date the Sabre from the tang stamp? Yours is a #3 and mine is a #603.
I know nothing about Sabre tang stamps but would guess yours is older than mine.

This Kershaw Ken Onion Chive showed up on friday. Been cliped in my pocket since then. Never had a knife like this before. Man is it fun to play with!!! ::groove:: I have had the Lanyard for some time now and tried putting it on several knives but the feeling just wasn't right to me. I find it fits well on this Kershaw though so they are a team now. :mrgreen: More pictures in the "Kershaw" & "Show us your Clips" threads. ::tu::

Thanks for looking! ::handshake::

Tom, it's a crying shame you have to suffer under the draconian knife laws of Germany. There's a whole new world of Kershaw knives for you to discover (with and without their patented "Speedsafe" opening system).

Since you like the Chive, you may want to consider moving up a notch to the Kershaw Scallion at 3½" closed. A skosh larger than the Chive which has a closed Length of 2-7/8" but not as large as the Leek at 4" closed.

Edit: Here's a link to some Kershaw knives for you to drool over. It's sort of the modern day equivalent to the Sears catalog of years past. ---► https://www.knifecenter.com/department/ ... ing-knives
